of the bug. Forgot to mention that the fireflies are poisonious and the likeness of the Souldier Beetle discourages predators for that reason. This bug (and the bee also) was photographed along an area of flowering plants including honeysuckle bordering a wooded area.

PS, it wasn't me that made a comment on your flower.

Another great photo.Well done.And it is so interesting to learn about the different insects that live in your garden. Is that pollen on its wings?

ps thank you for correcting me on my flame coloured flower. I knew it was a lily but for some reason typed iris ( I think because I had been looking at previous photos I had taken of the bearded iris!!) Any way-many thanks!
