I agree, and if the structures are not enough by themselves the little details found on or in them can add up to a heap of photos too! By the way I photographed this tobacco barn inside and out and from multiple angles as well and found it to be quite interesting and fairly well preserved. In the case of this photo I think the autumn background gave it an added extra bit of pizzazz too.

I think the mini-series adds more dimensions to this historic landscape - the hard part was picking out the minimal amount of photos to use as benchmarks.

Several interesting items if you want to pursue: Where do they get the dogs, percentage rehomed, death records should also be public domain with the NC Department of Agriculture. And they should be inspected by DOA, so should be interesting. Their patented response is to "rest assured" the "research dogs" (minimize their value) are fine. I'm always alert when a the head of a CVM says
"rest assured"...don't drink their "koolaide"...think additional research and facts are warrented.
