The size really doesn't do it justice. Having it the size of 24" LCD wallpaper is ore like it! :-) As for the shot, I only had about a minute and a half and it then got dark and a huge storm rolled in. Thanks for the comments!

I love the view from this pier as these views are becoming much too rare nowadays. To me, this photo brings back wonderful memories as the sight from it looks quite similar to those I remember from other piers along the NC coast during the days before extreme development took over and many of these old piers have since vanished.

The poodle is in the cloud to the right. I see his head and he is looking up. He has a little curly top on his head. I see his eye, nose and open mouth. Looking very happy. I have tried to post the original picture but can't get it to go through. This one is cropped from the original.

A nostalgic view

I am not sure about the cloud formations but the view from the fishing pier brings back a strong sense of nostalgia for me as so many that I had remembered in the past are now gone, probably forever... I can almost hear the surf and feel the sea breezes - pure tranquility.

Well done! Besides the warmth of this sunrise photo, the shadows cast upon the nearby clouds by other clouds farther off towards the horizon really adds some interesting perspectives to this shot.
