This year's egg hatched on April 27. The nest is deep however, you can get a glimpse of the baby's head bobbing back and forth as the mother and father feed it. After about 6 weeks the baby will be eating on his own.

It's quite interesting to watch.

Eagle Cam has been named in the top 10 Web Cams in the world.

The Eagle Cam reached a milestone - its one millionth viewer mark - last month. Officials say one soldier in Iraq told them he's watching the cam from Camp Liberty "because it reminds him of home."

Get a rare view of a Bald Eagle nest at Norfolk Botanical Garden. Camera image courtesy of the Va. Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries.

The enormous eagle nest is located in a 90 foot loblolly pine between the Mattson Garden and Renaissance Court. The birds’ home is between 600 and 800 pounds and about 8 feet in diameter.

The youngsters will likely attempt their first flight around Memorial Day.

The babies are hopping around in the nest and trying out their wings. The babies were so cute when they were little grey fuzz balls.
