Obama was a bit too cool tonight (read: boring) but McCain came off as an angry, nasty, desperate man. And he blew it on abortion when he blithely dismissed the health consideration for women.

McCain just did the Ickey

McCain just did the Ickey Shuffle and the Michael Jordan Tongue hang all at once.

Besides getting flabbered at the beginning saying things like Fannie and Freddie Mae.

McCain did seem very snippy tonight but he went on the attack which is what everyone said he needed to do, however every attack was countered with an orderly response.

I give it to Obama again, however I think McCain did what he needed to do 2 debate's ago. Still I don't know if it was enough to overcome a 14 point (CBS news yesterday) lead in the polls.

i think that mccain did very good this time. he hit really hard on abortion and education. it will be interesting to see what the polls say (even thought they don't realy mean much).

I hope someone explains to McCain that Downs syndrome is not the same as autism. Also, vouchers (depending upon how they are defined) could mean that everyone paying for private schools now gets more help with that. Most of these people have the money already. Support the public school system.

obama, regardless of his positions, always sound better. i disagree with a lot of his policies but i don't think he's lost any of these debates

america is split pretty much dwn the middle with most recent polls showing america to be slightly more pro-life. according to wikipedia at least.

I was hoping he would bring up this horrible "born alive" bill. Roe vs Wade does not allow for late term abortions except in cases of the health of the mother. Also, I would guess that there are exceedingly few if any cases of abortion in which the fetus exhibits viability. Lastly, McCain is out of touch with mainstream views on this issue. Prochoice is mainsteam regardless of the fervor with which prolife denies it.
