Can we afford 4 more years of someone who supported Bush 90%?

Can we focus on the economy? Please vote for Barack. Imagine what 4 more years will do to this nation.

http://barackforus.com/2008/10/15/please-read-and-tell-me-how-we-cant-change-our-direction-now/

Palin has lied about everything that she claimed. I don't trust her for anything. The Palin's wanted to secede from the United States of America. http://barackforus.com/2008/10/06/todd-palin-alaska-independence-party/

Bottom Line

As much as I dislike Obama (too wishy-washy and inexperienced), I will be voting straght Democrat.

To me, the bottom line is the Supreme Court. We simply cannot allow another Republican administration to stack the Court. And. . .I strongly suspect that Obama will nominate Hillary Clinton to the Court. I think this was the VP-slot trade-off.

Sarah Paylin

voting for Sarah Paylin is voting for another hypocrite and another prevaricator - she has shown her capacity for both in the few days she has been in the public eye. Her statement that abstinence is the way to go evidently wasn't the way for her in 1988 - married on August 29, 1988, son born on April 26, 1089 - not a crime and not unusual but certainly a measure of her moral character so to speak - there are lots of so-called 8 month premies out in the world but their parents are not spouting St. Sarah's morality - she is ill-equipped for many reasons to be a candidate for VP but it seems to me she is ill-equipped to be a mother exposing her 17 year old to the public at this sensitive time in her life. For shame on her and shame on McCain for thinking that he has a chance of winning with this ill qualified woman as his running mate.

...not to mention the potential Supreme Court appointees

If there were only one reason not to vote McCain, it would be that he says he will appoint justices like Roberts and Alito. 'Nuff said--I will vote for Obama. And really, does McCain think the women who supported Hillary are so STUPID as to vote for him just because he nominated a woman for VP? Palin is no Hillary Clinton!

Clinton Supporters for McCain. PUMA

Long time democratic voter and activist. Switched to unaffiliated after 5/31 DNC theft of Clinton delegates.

Pleased to vote against Obama. Clinton won popular vote, has experience, swing state strength, to beat McCain without a problem.

But, bambi was the chosen one by old loser skunks like Kerry and Kennedy and new DNC whacko leftists like Dean, Brazile, Leah Daughtry, etc. Plus, the limp/weak 9% approval types like Pelosi and Reid (harr harr).

I saw what happened to HRC. I saw the stupid delegate rack ups by Obama in states where SHE won the pop vote, states where he rigged caucuses, southern states that will go McCain.

Obama doesn't pass character or experience tests. I'll feel safer with McCain. I like his tax approach. Roe isn't going anywhere (no hostage dem here).

Obama is a fraud, empty suit, affirmative action guy. Throw that fish back in and let him rot (by associations) or let him grow.

Independent

As one of the "growing" party, Independents, I feel obligated to consider every candidate. While I initially had some reservations about Obama, I will vote for him - and Biden.
There is no way I would vote for McCain and even less (especially at this time) would I vote for Palin. It's sad to say what a sorry pair the Republicans have produced for this election!

Must one vote for one's party.

No, no and no. One must vote for the good of one's nation
One joins a party if the party's policies reflect one's ideals. If or when a party begins to act contrary to onesss ideals, then one must vote for what one thinks is right, whatever the party.

You need to read some free media - Palin is an incredible pick. I wish she was running for Prez. Then I could vote for the RNP.

Blindly follow any political party?

I will not vote for Obama. To blindly follow any political party is ludicrous and irresponsible. Both are corrupt and are in lobbyist pockets, so who is the less evil of the two? I wish the good people of the US had voted for Clinton, but since that did not happen my vote with a heavy heart will go to McCain.

If McCain's uninformed method of choosing his running mate is any indication of how he operates, then we will be screwed if he becomes president.

I'll be specific: Obama had

I'll be specific: Obama had promised to give amnesty to every illegal immigrant in the US. that means they will have the same benefits as all of us - that means they will get Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid etc. and the system right now cannot handle the costs. How will it fare under the additional burden of 12-20 million illegal immigrants.

Obama is selling out the middle class. Pure and simple. Bush did too by not enforcing immigration laws.

Should Hillary supporters vote for Obama in November?

There is a debate about whether Hillary Clinton's supports will vote for Barack Obama. Some on the blogs say they won't. Others say he since he won the nomination they'll support their party nominee. Which side are you on? No matter your party, would you support your party nominee even if "your" candidate didn't win the nomination?

Also, click here to discuss Obama's VP pick, Joe Biden.
