Dick Gordon interviewed

Dick Gordon interviewed one of many students with a scholarship who was almost trapped in Gaza. Once out, who knows if he will be able to return. Probably not.

These folks were reinstated.

These folks were reinstated. They will get to study abroad. Guess Bush wasn't involved in that decision!

Many others with scholarships still can't get out, but it's good that these were publicized and they will get to leave. They will probably have trouble getting back in for visits or to come back after the schooling. That's how Israel does it. Ethnic cleansing. They did it in '48 and continue to do so.

Fulbright Scholarships revoked

Several Palestinian students were awarded Fulbright scholarships, but recently received an email that they are being revoked due to the fact that Israel won't let anyone in or out of Gaza. Do the students have a right to study at their intended schools? Should the US pressure Israel to allow the students to study elsewhere? Is Israel right to detain the students? Is this collective punishment or a security concern? What do you think?
