China Earthquake Relief - Triangle, where are you?!

After reading in this morning's paper about the 6.0 aftershocks (after checking http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/ last night) which leveled thousands more home in China, I decided to track this thread out of curiousity (and even click on a few tracts to see where the came from and how they found this too) to see how many visitors thought enough to read this forum. I was deeply saddened by what few results I saw from the Triangle as a whole as compared to other posts as well as photos I had tracked. Are Triangle residents really that heartless?(!!!) Even though this has been posted in plain view at the top of the new forums list for days now, I'm sad to say in my opinion this is shameful for our reputation as a community as a whole. Beyond this I really don't know what else to say but to reinterate what has already been previously posted in the original forum starter.

Although this earthquake was terrible, registering at 7.9 on the Richter scale at Sichuan on May 12th, one thing can be said and this is that people should pray and give thanks God, for the sake of all the women and children especially, that this did not happen near or during the winter snowstorm earlier on January 25 as things could have been much horribly worse than ever imaginable!
