&lt;p&gt;In recognition of the one-year anniversary of the drought declaration, citizenQ asked readers to contribute some of their thoughts on public policy and water conservation. We got a flood -- no pun intended -- of answers. Some are appearing in the Memorial Day weekend citizenQ section; others will appear on Page 2B. Ultimately, we used citizen response to craft a section centered on the ongoing water problems and potential solutions.&lt;/p&gt;
