Sears Farm is no longer operational, and is being developed into a senior community called SearStone. You do need to contact the Information Centre about coming on to the property to paint/photograph and you will need to sign a release form (just in case someone trips, falls, etc., on the property). Feel free to call Debbie DeRosa at 466-9366.

Is this farm still operational and do photographers/painters need to seek permission to come on the property?

Members of PAINT NC staged a Paint Out at the historic Sears Farm property in Cary, painting outdoor scenes of barns, ponds, ladscapes, etc.
