Someone finally addresses the key question

With all that's been said, finally someone gets at least part way to the key difference in Psycho T and your average college fratrat. Bobby Frasor made the jusp first, after removing shirt and socks. Then PT followed, removing only his sneakers, presuming he was wearing any.

Anyone with any sense knows what you expose yourself to: a couple hours of walking around with dripping wet shirt and socks, unable to put shoes back on or they would get wet, too. Of course, it's kinda warm in NC, but still a couple hours is realistic. And the prospect of changing clothes really isn't there. Has NE1 ever heard of a college kid with more than one set of clothes clean and ready on any given day? (Other than a nerdy IT major.)

Beyond the discomfort from the wet clothing, with respect to the shirt, there's also the huge lost opportunity to expose one's bare flesh to the adulatory gaze of multiple persons of opposite gender. Now someone will mention that PT already has a GF. I didn't suggest doing anything to upset that relationship. Just knowingly accepting those pleasing regards is not a violation, but can bring huge satisfaction.

fabulous. you ppl are freaking out over nothing. its only the second story and the pool is above ground so he's not falling as far...i would have done the same thing if i was there! just another example as to why hans is fearless & dookies are pussies. you only fall when you're not touched at all...

Tyler is a young man enjoying his youth… With all the expectations and pressure that he obviously deals with on and off the basketball court, he deserves to cut loose and just enjoy being ALIVE! He’s a good kid… The people going ballistic over this act are the same type of people responsible for adding pressure to what should be an enjoyable time in a young man’s life…

Yes, he maybe enjoying himself, getting rid of the pressure of the sport and all that. But i'd like him to meet my Uncle Bill, who at 19 did the same thing, from the same height into a pool. now after 45 years as a quadriplegic and confinded to a wheelchair, his suffering is almost over. It may look harmless, but a broken neck can end a life and those around them.

The priority in this picture is FUN! Why does it HAVE to be Athletics or Academics? Why can't it just be a college kid blowing off steam. I can't imagine the pressure of having EVERY SINGLE MOVE YOU MAKE scrutinzed.

Let the poor fish out of the fishbowl for just a second. He's got enough responsiblity heaped on him without the hopes and wishes of the rabid masses of basketball fans trying to make him feel guilty for being himself for once.

I love basketball as well as the next fan but if he takes one little step in his life that doesn't look to be conducive to his career at UNC, people get in a huge tizzy over it. It makes the fans sound as if they only care about UNC's standings instead of him being able to be a regular guy his age. This is what college kids do folks. It's not right to not allow them to be or do otherwise. It's just sad.
