I use to love these type of games. I don't know of the level of violence/sex have been over glorified now, but I'm not as hyped to play it as I would have been in the past.. I'm passing on gta for now. I may revist later as a gamefly rental.

GTA

I used to look opon the GTA games with disgust, but after reading the reviews of this latest one in Xbox Mag, I am more than a little interested in playing it. I usually stick to games that have some moral goal, like saving hostages, or defending Earth against aliens, etc., but it won't make me a bad person to play a game based on committing crime. A video game is just a video game. Nothing more.

Gta 4

I love the game. I 've played it since its ps2 days and will continue to play. It has a mature rating, which s fine. I'm 32 years old, married with two children. I have a bookshelf full of Whitmann, Emerson, and Dostoyevesky. I also have King, Palanihuk, and Kerouac. I have WW11 memoirs and short story english books. I have my children in dance and t-ball. I love classical, jazz, hardcore punk and many types of music.

What I'm saying is I m well rounded and I enjoy grand theft auto. Its a video game that is fee roam and offers a decent story line with amazing graphics. Sure, one is able to kill, steal and destroy while listening to Chet Baker or the cro-mags, it doesnt matter.

It has a mature rating and I will let my 5 year old play it. It has dgital rendered images of people, it isn't real. Those who hate it should play it. Those who do not play video games will not understand something as simpl as Katamari. It isn't for everyone, but it is for me and many like me.

I was the first to get a copy at a Wake Forrest Game Stop last night. I took a holiday today to enjoy it and I have. Before denouncing it try to understand the game and just enjoy it for what it is, a good waste of time. Emaail me and I will be happy to discuss futher. Thank you and enjoy your day.
