My terms are pretty close.

Whatever discriptive term you use, all three of these candidates are likely to use government power to reduce the liberty of the American people. Obama and Clinton are more likely to do it than John McCain. And they are likely to do it to 'protect us,' whether from criminals, ourselves, or terrorists behind every bush. The only person I would willingly vote for is Ron Paul. Ron Paul seeks to limit government power and restore liberty to the American people. If the Founding Fathers were alive to see the mess this country has become, they would take up arms against the current government! Ron Paul is a strict Constitutionalist. Do you know what the Constitution is? It is basically the instruction manual for this country. For the last hundred years, our leaders have disregarded this instruction manual and ignored rights, adopted an interventionist foreign policy, and increased the size and power of the federal government. Ron Paul would reverse this trend, and restore our country to what it should be under the Constitution - a country that honors life, liberty, and property. Not an up-and-coming socialist empire. John McCain would move to expand our empire fighting terrorism, while Obama or Clinton would move us further toward socialism, taking away liberties at every chance 'for the good of the people'. It's a sorry threesome of candidates left to choose from.

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." Thomas Jefferson, 1791

It looks like there are

It looks like there are alot of uninformed people out there with strong & rather slanderous opinions. Would you rather have a lying, deceitful, power hungry, greedy money grabber or an HONEST person who admits to his past mistakes? Judge not;lest though be judged. And if you feel strongly enough to put forth an opinion; please be big enough to sign your name!

vote for the only classy candidate

I would vote for Obama. Hillary has shown herself to be so power crazy she is willing to stoop to any level in an attempt to win. Her clear pandering to white racists voters is despicable. It seems pretty clear she'd rather have the Republicans win, so she could run again in 4 years, than have any Democrat besides herself win.

Shrillary & NObama are Socialists

You're right, "Concerned Citizen," Shrillary & NObama are most definitely not communists, but they are socialists. McCain is also a socialist.

Let me explain: Socialism refers to group of ideologies and political movements with the goal of a socio-economic system in which property and the distribution of wealth are subject to control by the "community." It's driven by a group of elitists who know what's "best" for the masses, and therefore, dictate what we think, when we think, and how we think. They control our schools, our media, our healthcare, and especially our government. They create scenarios like water and oil shortages and global warming as ways to scare the masses into submission. Oh and let's not forget, if you're not on the dole, they're going to rob you blind in the form of taxes.

Yep, you're right, they're definitely not communists.

Ron Paul!

I've voted Libertarian in every election since '96. Dr. Paul is the only choice we have against the socialism that Shrillary, NObama, and the Manchurian Candidate (aka McCain) represent.

I'm tired of hearing people use the excuse of voting for the lesser of two evils. This sentiment should disgust us as a nation. Let's vote with our intellect instead of our emotions for a change!

Change is needed

I would vote for Obama because he represents what most Americans are and that is a mixture ethnicticity. No one individual is 100% pure one race. I just wish that we as Americans would for once stand up for equality, instead of being bullied by the media into a racial divide. As Obama stated in a speach earlier, we need to be unified. Why? Because this oppression that the economy is in is being felt by everybody black, white, latino, chinese, etc.... And.....I can guarantee if you as individual are not feeling the crush, I bet you know someone that is! Stop falling for everything and let's pull together as a country and re-build. Stop tearing each other down because of race, it's more than that it's time for a change! I am tired of the fighting, I am tired of the inequalities, I am tired of the belittlement from the ones against change. I am excited that for once in an election there may be hope!

Hypocrisy

Sen. Clinton,

I remember when Al Gore won the popular vote but Pres. Bush was elected by the electoral college vote. In an interview at the time you said that the process was unfair. You said that the will of a majority of the people should always determine elections. Why now that you are behind in the popular vote have you changed your position? You now think that superdelegates should overide the will of the people! Is that not hypocritcal??

OBAMA brings a sense of renewal and not just plan good ole boys politics. he has the sense to surround himself with skillful and wise policy makers who do have experience!

Response to CalicoBullet

Definition of communisim: "Communism is a socioeconomic structure that promotes the establishment of a classless, stateless society based on common ownership of the means of production." Please refer me to exact instances of when Obama or Clinton have promoted a system of government where the government produces everything. And don't say health care, because if you actually researched their plans you would discover that neither are offering a system that is controlled solely by the government; they seek to keep private health care but use regulation to improve the efficiency and increase access. Government regulation has nothing to do with communism, it is simply a necessary component of a strong capitalist economy (which Obama, Clinton, McCain and myself support). So please, do not use petty stereotypes to characterize people. I take equal offense to your portrayal of McCain as a fascist; if you really knew what these terms meant, perhaps you would not be using them so flippantly.

McCain

With Ron Paul no longer an option, I am forced to choose John McCain. I certainly would never vote for communism (aKa Clinton or Obama). I know that McCain will be a warmongering globalist similar to Bush, but he would come closer, I think, to securing America's freedoms than Obama or Clinton. Though I admit, he could easily trash the Constitution to 'protect us from terrorism.' Clinton or Obama would trash it to protect us from ouselves. It's almost as if you're choosing between Communism or Fascism. How did we end up with these three sorry choices? I really wanted to vote for Ron Paul.

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." Thomas Jefferson, 1791
