University of Phoenix – Raleigh campus is celebrating its commencement ceremony on June 28 at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts to recognize more than 280 students in the Triangle area. Many of these students earned their degrees by working full-time jobs and going to school online, in a traditional classroom, or a unique blend of both. By obtaining their degree, these working adults developed the knowledge and skills to achieve their professional goals, improve the productivity of their organizations and provide leadership and service to their communities.
“We applaud our students for their commitment to higher education and our faculty practitioners for their dedication to helping today’s working professionals advance or change their careers,” said David Fitzgerald, University of Phoenix – Raleigh campus director.
Around 1,800 guests and employees are expected to attend the celebration.
