I believe that Lawson has his mind made up - and his actions of the last weekend don't help his case for coming back. I agree with Tudor, that if he did come back he would face a lengthy suspension from Williams (as he should). His actions and talk look to him staying in the draft regardless.
Ellignton needs another year - to gain strength - and to see what it is like to be more of a scorer (yes - he needs to score more). He needs another year.
Green as well needs another year - probably more than that - but apparently he can't speak anymore - as only his dad seems to be able to communicate. I do believe that Green has his heart set on going to the NBA - but it will not be next year - as even if he were drafted, i believe that he would end up in the NBDL or even worse, Europe.
So in the end - who should come back. Well - in reality - since UNC does not have an incoming point guard who can step in and run the show and we won't know about Frasor until the start of the season, Lawson should come back, and 1 of the two between Ellignton and Green.
If all 3 do come back, then the team is loaded. And with the latest signee for the 2009-2010 incoming class, there isn't any reason for them to stay after this year.
Who Should Stay
