RE: Obama and Clinton

Ruth, all of the candidates want power, otherwise they would not be candidates.

Obama, as an "educated negro", understands that his patriotism is not proven by the public display of a lapel pin, or a pledge of allegiance on TV, but instead a life of public service and dedication to the values and objectives of Democrats and all Americans.  His love for America is in his heart and mind, not on his sleeve.  I respect that.

Obama is not Muslim, but even if he were, all people are equal regardless of race, color, creed, religion, or sexuality in civilized America.  That includes educated negroes and Muslims.  Equality is a fundamental value of the Democratic party, and Obama's victory proves that we have begun healing the wounds of our past, and of our ignorance.  I hope you will join the celebration, for humanity's sake, and your own.
