We love gas station grub. Not those wrinkled hot dogs languishing on the warming rollers but restaurants and grills that serve breakfast biscuits and pork chop sandwiches that happen to be located in gas stations or convenience stores.

Laziz Biryani Corner in Gopaks Bazaar on Hillsborough St. serves some of the best Indian and Pakistani food in Raleigh. It has just been open for 3 weeks so not a lot of people know about it. The food is fresh and healthy and cooked to your specifications (mild, spicy, very spicy).
They have vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and the prices are very reasonable.
It is not exactly a gas station but Gopaks is a convenience store.
I agree, the Indian food served there is worth the money and atmosphere. The butter chicken rivals any I have tried. They have large portions and a great variety. I would try the daily platter, 2 main dishes, rice, yogurt, and one other item, for only $5. I hope they are here to stay!
Yes, laziz biryani corner is the best place i have eaten. I mean it is the real food. You don't taste the restaurant food, it is the best taste, it reminds me of back home.i love it. I would recommend everyone to go there!
Big Dawg's Grill on Farrington Point Road near Governor's Club and Jordan Lake - open just for Breakfast and Lunch, with great biscuits, burgers, dawgs, milkshakes, etc. Check it out!! Adjacent to a gas station, no seating - strictly for the grab & go dining crowd...

Tookie's on 6 Forks Road, hands down. Best chicken salad numerous times by the Spectator and Metro.
