what a ride

It was the first real sports memory I have. I remember my dad saying "I can't believe they actually won!" over and over again. That team and it's story have been and continue to be inspiration for all teams that aren't given a chance. The 1983 Wolfpack is proof that you don't know until you play the game. Jim Valvano we always be loved and remembered by all those who grew up in North Carolina during those years. As a NCSU alumni I wish the university and the Wolfpack Club would do more to honor his accomplishments and what he did for the school. The positive impact he had on the school far out weighs any bad accusations that surrounded him. The only difference between NC STATE at that time and UNC and Duke was the State got caught. Let the legend of Jimmy V and the Cardiac Pack live on for eternity and their spirit be rekindled everytime you hear those great words "GO PACK".
