Cary, NC – January 31, 2008 – Healthy Connections Network (HCN) a unique business networking group in the Triangle area had its first well attended meeting on January, 31 at the Butterfly Life (3512 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607).
Healthy Connections Network is a unique business network that not only helps with entrepreneurial development for alternative health practitioners and green living consultants, but is also dedicated to public education and awareness on a subject of complimentary medicine, wellness and green living.
This group will be a major part of crafting educational and informational programs ready available to public thru free seminars, wellness expos, and on-line video presentations. The group is meeting on the regular basis.
“In the face of skyrocketing health care cost it is time for public to learn all the options of complimentary medicine and healthy, green living,” said Marina Lando of Harmony Life (http://www.reiki.surchange.com/), one of the founders of Healthy Connections Network. “Financial data from European countries shows that the usage of complimentary medicine in hospitals and by private medical practices greatly reduces the cost of healthcare and improves general health of local population.”
“For many of complimentary medicine and green living entrepreneurs, the cost of effective marketing and advertisement is formidable” said Louise Griffin a Green Realtor (http://www.BreezeWithLouise.com) and another co-founder. “With combined group power we plan to achieve what a single small business owner can not.”
The benefits to the members include free membership, free website listing, free article distribution and discount rates at expos, shows and media.
Healthy Connections Network is already working on their first joint event: the Wellness Expo that will take place in the middle of March at the Business Networking Center in Cary.
