I think it is great for the candidates to be against illegal immigrants, but trying to keep them out of community colleges is crazy. These candidates should be encouraging more of them to get in school. Immigrants aren’t going to leave voluntarily. If the different levels of government continue cutting off services, educational or work opportunities for these illegal immigrants they really will turn into a crime problem. These immigrants will not have any other choice but to slide further into the shadows, making them an even bigger burden on government programs and our society. Let’s face the facts! With an estimated 11.6 million illegal immigrants in our country and more coming across our borders each year there is no way for the government to deport all of them. Congress must come up with an immigration reform that will secure our borders before our nation can focus on what to do the millions of illegal immigrants currently in our country! Immigration reform can only be achieved by small incremental steps which will take time to accomplish.
