There are no easy answers to this issue. However, it is a fact that children of illegal immigrants are here and most are not going to leave any time soon. If they have been educated in our school systems and are now ready for more advance studies and/or training, whom does it serve to deny this to them? Would the opponents rather see many of them end up unemployed? Wouldn't it better serve society to have them working at meaningful jobs from which they pay taxes and contribute to the greater good? The fact that they will be forced to pay out-of-state tuition will already reduce the number who will be able to attend. Must we be so hard hearted? Let's come up with workable solutions, not just hate-filled statements that brand them as "criminals."
