This is a great program and should be enforced throughout all of NC. We should not be forced to house Illegal Immigrants in our prisons and Jails at our expense. If they want to be part of our great nation then they should do it properly and become Legal residents.
Just look at all the people who have lost their lives to Illegal immigrants who drive drunk on the roads of NC yet your elected officials turn the other cheek. Something else that others don't understand and that nobody wants to discuss is the explosive growth in Gang activity in our local area by Illegal immigrants. Durham is beocming known as a major HQ for Illegal gang activity.
And for those Illegals who get caught and then are seperated from their children.... I'm sorry but you reap what you sow. Take your money that you earned and pay to bring them back home.
Something else nobody wants to discuss is how the Illegals drive down wages which ends up hurting many minority classes in the US or the unskilled laborers Legally in the United States.
