"Art After Dark" is held on the Second Friday evening of each month.  The Holly Springs Cultural Center, The Nature of Art, Java Divine, Ashley's Art Gallery in Fuquay-Varina, Not Afraid of Color Stained Glass Studio, and now Joyful Sounds Academy of Music & Art are teaming up to host the art walk as a combined town event to celebrate local art.

Visit 3 participating venues in this month's Art after Dark event, and get your Art Passport stamped to be eligible for our door prize, a high resolution long-lasting digital print up to 11x14 inches, produced from the winner's personal photograph or the photo library of Van Crandall with Lighthouse Digital Media.

Wet and Wild Watercolors class
Saturday, Sept 22 from 10am to 1pm
Intermediate watercolor painting with artist Gail O'Neil.  Learn new techniques for applying paint to paper; let loose and experiment with watercolor! 

We will use lots of objects to make textures on paper using watercolor and inks, and experiment with color as well.  The textured paper can then become an abstract or if realism suits you then we'll have fun deciding just what your painting should become.   $30 + $10 materials fee; Preregistration required.
